NVIDIA RTX 3050 in finished assemblies weaker than the video cards sold separately

As many know, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 is the youngest video card of the RTX series from the green company, but, as it turned out, it was possible to make the solution even weaker.

RTX 3050 is supplied for ordinary buyers in two versions, one of which is built on the GA107 chip and the other-on GA106. Both options have identical characteristics and do not differ in performance, but colleagues from China found out that in ready-made assemblies you can also find a slightly different version of the RTX 3050.

The discovered video card has only 2304 CUDA cores against 2506 in video cards sold in stores, and even received lower operating frequencies (1.51 GHz vs 1.55 GHz in the database and 1.76 GHz versus 1.78 GHz boosts).

It goes without saying that such an RTX 3050 will be somewhat weaker than ordinary, and therefore we strongly recommend that when buying, consult with the manufacturer of the finished PC regarding which RTX 3050 is installed inside.
